Rhonda SG You didn't. Your sis is busy at work. Besides, I haven't seen her for months before I left for SG and the next time I'll see her will probably be mid-July. The techies at her workplace aren't exactly going to come running to my apt each time a problem surfaces either. With virtually no support like that, you think I'd dare venture that way?
choco B SG Yes... so they're not really expenses, they're investments, heirlooms even...... @[email protected] at Elindra Hahahah
elindra SG Actually how often do you have pc problems? I always have no problems with my home build pc till the HD dies
Rhonda SG Now, if mom hands that over to my sis-in-law, it's a violation of the love between a mom and daughter!! And I shall have her know it shall be an unforgivable insult! That bag won't look good on her anyways... she's too scrawny to carry it off! She should only carry kitten-sized handbags for her mini frame. Oh, I am so wicked!! But hey, it's a lovely designer handbag we're talking about here, y'know! Heirloom stuff!
Rhonda SG Mom's really kewl! When I was a teenager, we sat side-by-side battling it out on Nintendo games and it was when we were playing games, challenging each other, that I would talk to her about boys and school and stuff. I won't talk to her otherwise! Now, mom's the one with online subscription to game sites so she'll try the games, then if she likes it, she'll purchase it and then recommend it to me, my bro and sis-in-law. Even her colleagues too! Sometimes we'll give gaming tips to each other. Fun, right? I think it'll be lagi more kewl if she takes to a Nintendo DS Lite! BTW, I LOVE my Nintendo DS Lite!
hisoka SG actually, dell pcs are crap. but surprisingly, from the feedback from my friend, the dell lappys are actually quite good and stable and doesn't suffer from the bad hardware troubles too.
Rhonda SG None with my Dell. Plenty with them customised ones. I remember having to lug that darn CPU 3-4 times to Sim Lim Sq for help a few years back when I kept getting PC problems with the hardware conflicts and what-not. And that was back when I was working with CPQ and definitely more knowledgeable about PC's and able to remove the cover and do things to the insides, stuff that I definitely cannot do now cause I'm way too outdated.
stellazio SG i think its because, pcs are too easy to build up, and with such a huge amoutn of em, the workers probably won't put much effort into it. but laptops are different, they require more care, and more concentration imo. i can do up my own pc, but i don't even dare to open up my laptop.
elindra SG I never had a problem with hardware conflicts Best to ask a friend who is good with PCs to give you the specs for your budget and fix it up
Rhonda SG An eyesore! Think of Paris Hilton and the other A-list Hollywood celebs, reed-thin, and in Nicole Ritchie's case, anorexic, and lugging around this bag that's probably half their size! Mom did say that it's odd but big girls tend to like small accessories whilst the small girls opt for really large and loud accessories!
stellazio SG eerrr rhonda, this ur chance to socialize around with some cool guys in ur neighbourhood, and hope they're good with computers. talk bout killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
av98m SG I can't believe I'm still using a pentium 4. but unless I start playing games regularly again I'm not going to need a faster PC
Rhonda SG Actually, you know what... I've got friends here but they're all married / attached so whatever time they have outside work is spent with their partners, that's why I don't get to go out with them much. We've tried planning outings and all that but things always get cancelled / postponed. It's alright now though... now, I'm the one fending off some invitations from people I find a tad ... 'dubious'.
Rhonda SG stella, I tell you why I'm cautious about socialising with the guys here. First, this is what's on their minds - SEX. And second, this is what's on their minds - More Sex. I'm not about to invite some man into my house and then... oh yucks!!
